AND HIS STOCK IN TRADE TO ANOTHER PERSON, PRO-
VIDED THAT APPLICATION FOR SUCH TRANSFER AND/OR
SALE SHALL BE MADE, AND THAT A BULK SALES PERMIT
IS OBTAINED WHERE THE STOCK OF ALCOHOLIC BEVER-
AGES IS TO BE SOLD, AND THE NEW LOCATION AND/OR
ASSIGNEE SHALL BE APPROVED AS IN THE CASE OF AN
ORIGINAL APPLICATION FOR SUCH LICENSE. SUCH TRANS-
FER AND/OR ASSIGNMENT WHEN MADE SHALL BE EN-
DORSED UPON THE LICENSE BY THE OFFICIAL ISSUING
THE SAME, UPON THE PAYMENT OF A FEE OF ONE DOL-
LAR ($1. 00) IN ADDITION TO THE COSTS OF PUBLICATION
AND NOTICE, WHICH SHALL BE PAID AT THE TIME OF
THE FILING OF THE APPLICATION FOR THE TRANSFER
AND/OR SALE. THIS SECTION SHALL PERMIT THE TRANS-
FER OF LOCATION AND THE ASSIGNMENT OF LICENSE IN
THE SAME APPLICATION.

74 (b). In Prince George's County the fee for assignment and/or
transfer of a license shall be two hundred dollars ($200. 00). No
transfer of a license shall be approved or issued for a transfer from
one location to another, except in cases where the board determines
it is reasonable for continuance of the business of the license holder
and the needs of the community where it is proposed to relocate such
business, and such new location is within 6 miles of the location for
which such license was originally issued. A transfer of location under
the provisions hereof shall not be approved except for and to a license
holder who has held such a license for more than two years, and no
transfer of location or ownership shall be approved when a transfer
of location has been authorized for a license within two years. The
provisions hereof shall not be construed to bar or prohibit a transfer
of ownership for continuance of a business in the same location, un-
less there has been a transfer of location for such license within two
years. A receiver or trustee for the benefit of creditors of a licensee,
or the personal representative of a deceased licensee, may, within six
months of appointment as such receiver or trustee or within six
months of the death of the licenseholder, transfer a license, subject
to the approval of the board, for continuance of a business at the
original licensed location.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1962.
