June Court 1738

His Lordship    Kent County fst Be it remembered
agt    that on the twenty fifth day of May in
John Ednew    the year of our Lord seventeen hundred thirty
& Eight personally Appeared before me the Subscriber One
of his Lordship Justices of the peace for the afd County John
Ryley and Acknowledged himself Indebted unto his Lordship
the right honourable the Lord propry. of Maryland in the sum
of twenty pounds current money of the province afd to be made &
Leveyed on his body goods and Chattles Lands & Tenements for
the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors With
Condition that he the said John Ryley do make his personall
Appearance before the Justices of our next County Court to be
held at our Court house in the Town of Chester in said County
on the third tuesday of June next to prosecute in behalf of
his Lordship against the afd John Ednew on Suspition of
felony Then this Recognizance to be Void Else to remain at
full force in Law                           Gidn. Pearce
Kent County fst Be it remembered that on the twenty fifth
day of May Anno Dom. 1738 personally Appeared before me
the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the peace
for the afd County James Boyer, James Cargile & Edmd. Lynch
and Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto his Lordship the
Right honourable the Lord propry. of Maryland in the sum
of ten pounds current money of the province afd to be made
& Leveyed on their bodys goods and Chattles Lands and Tenemts.
for the use of his said Lordship his heirs & Successors With
Condition to this Recognizance that if they & each of them
the afd James Boyer James Cargile & Edmund Linch do
make there personall Appearance before the Justices of
Our next County Court to be held at our Court house in the
Town of Chester in said County on the third tuesday of June
next to testifie in behalf of his Lordship against the afd
John Ednew then this Recognizance to be void Else to remn.
