"Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-title
"The Executive Department", to follow immediately after Section
188A thereof and to be under the new sub-heading "Names of
Executive Agencies", relating to the name or designation of cer-
tain offices, agencies, places or institutions within the Executive
Department which have been given or established in or by law
enacted by the General Assembly.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That new Section 188B and it is hereby added to Article 41 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1957 Edition and 1962 Supplement),
title "Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-
title "The Executive Department", to follow immediately after
Section 188A thereof and to be under the new sub-heading "Names
of Executive Agencies", and to read as follows:

Names of Executive Agencies
188B.

An officer, employee, or agency of the Executive Department shall
not change the name or designation of any office, agency, place, or
institution within a department, board, bureau, commissioner other
division of the Executive Department which has been given or
established in or by law enacted by the General Assembly; and any
such name or designation shall remain as thus fixed until changed by
another law enacted by the General Assembly.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1963.

CHAPTER 40
(Senate Bill 167)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 82 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Howard County (1957 Edition,
being Article 14 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland),
title "Howard County", sub-title "County Treasurer", which sec-
tion was last amended by Chapter 802 of the Acts of 1961, to
provide, only in the year 1963, that taxes paid on real property
in the First and Sixth Districts of Howard County, up to and
including February 28, 1963, will be allowed the two per cent
(2%) discount.

Whereas, Taxpayers in the First and Sixth Districts of Howard
County were unable to obtain their tax bills at the normal time due
to unavoidable circumstances; and

Whereas, The taxpayers in the First and Sixth Districts should
have the same allotted time to receive the special 2% discount as
taxpayers in the other districts of Howard County; now, therefore,
