305 And Divises therein mentioned did give and Bequeath unto his Daughter Mary Dowell (party thereunto) all the remaining part of his Land he then lived on and the remaining part of Woodland Adjoining to it which he Purchased of Peter Galloway as by the said Will Duly Signed Sealed ^Published^ Declared proved and Recorded in the Commissary's Office Relation being thereunto had may more fully and at Large appear Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Philip Dowell and Mary his wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of fifty Pounds Sterling money of Great Britain to them in hand paid by the said John Bickerton the Receipt whereof he the said Philip Dowell doth hereby Acknowledge they the said Philip Dowell and Mary his wife have granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed Released & Confirmed and by these Presents do Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe Release & Confirme unto the said John Bickerton his heirs & Assigns forever all their Right ^Title Interest Claim & Demand^ so as af.d Given & Demised by the said Richard Richardson unto the said Mary Dowell by whatsoever name or names the same be Called or whatsoever Quantity or number of Acres the same may Contain together with all & Singular the Houses outhouses improvements & Appurtinances to the same belonging or any wise Appurtaining To have & to hold the same Bargained Premisses with the Appurtenances unto the said John Bickerton Bickerton his heirs and Assigns forever and to and for no Other use intent or Purpose whatsoever and the said Philip Dowell and Mary his wife ^do^ for themselves their heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs Covenant Grant and Agree to & with the said John Bickerton his heirs and Assigns that they the said Philip Dowell and Mary his wife the said Bargained Land and Premes with the Appurtenances unto the said John Bickerton his heirs and Assigns will Warrant and for ever Defend against them the said Philip Dowell and Mary his wife and their heirs and against all persons Claiming by from or under him her or them and that they the said Philip Dowell and Mary his wife their heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs shall and will at any time within the space of Seven Years next ensuing the Date hereof make do Acknowledge and Suffer or Cause to be made done Acknowledged Suffered & Executed all and every such further & Other Act & Acts thing & things Assurance & Conveyances in the Law whatsoever for the further and more perfect Assuring surety and suremaking over the above^s.d^ Bargained Land and Premisses unto the said John Bickerton (his) |
