that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland on November 7, 1972,
an Act known as Chapter 625 of the Acts of 1972 was submitted to the voters of
the 4th and 5th Election Districts of Harford County under the provisions of said
Chapter 625, said Act being as follows:

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections 19(f-2), 20(h-2),
and 161(b) of Article 2B of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement
Volume and 1971 Supplement), title "Alcoholic Beverages," subtitles "Beer, Wine
and Liquor Licenses," and "County Liquor Control Boards and Dispensaries," in
Harford County to remove the prohibition against the sale of alcoholic beverages
in the fourth and fifth election districts and generally relating thereto, and to
provide for a local referendum thereon.

AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that at said election, 2,242 votes were cast
for the adoption of said Chapter 625, and 2,124 votes were cast against the
adoption of said Chapter 625, the said Chapter 625 of the Acts of 1972 has
therefore been ratified by the duly qualified voters of Harford County, Maryland.

GIVEN Under My Hand and the Seal of the State Administrative Board
of Election Laws of the State of Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this
30th day of November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred
and Seventy-two.

1972, CHAPTER 628 - Howard County Board of Education

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland, the State Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland on November 7, 1972,
an Act known as Chapter 628 of the Acts of 1972 was submitted to the voters of
Howard County under the provisions of said Chapter 628, said Act being as
follows:

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 35(b) of Article
77 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1971
Supplement), and to add new Section 36B to Article 77 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume, 1971 Supplement) all titled "Public
Education," subtitle "Chapter 4 - County Boards of Education," to follow
immediately after Section 36A thereof, to provide for the composition, election,
salary, powers and duties of the Board of Education for Howard County and
matters generally relating thereto.

AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that at said election, 14,099 votes were
cast for the adoption of said Chapter 628 and 9,465 votes were cast against the
adoption of said Chapter 628, the said Chapter 628 of the Acts of 1972 has
therefore been ratified by the duly qualified voters of Howard County, Maryland.
