AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 182 of Article 18
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 edition), title "Queen Anne's
County," subtitle "County Commissioners," as last amended by Chapter 310 of
the Acts of 1955, to increase the number of County Commissioners to five and to
provide for their qualifications as to residence, the manner of their election, and
the manner of filling vacancies, AND THIS ACT SHALL BE SUBJECT TO
LOCAL REFERENDUM and generally relating thereto.

AND IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED that at said election, 1,929 votes were cast
for the adoption of said Chapter 713 and 2,425 votes were cast against the
adoption of said Chapter 713, the said Chapter 713 of the Acts of 1972 has
therefore failed of ratification.

30th day of November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine Hundred
