X.d  This Indenture made the first day of March in the Year of our Lord One
       thousand seven hundred and fifty Nine Between Henry Woodward of Ann Arundel
       County Gentleman of the one Part and Joseph Galloway of Ann Arundel County Gentleman
       of the other Part  Witnesseth That the said Henry Woodward for and in consideration of
       the sum of Five Shillings of Lawfull Money of England to him in Hand paid by the said
       Joseph Galloway at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt
       whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath bargained and sold and by these Presents doth
       bargain and sell unto the said Joseph Galloway all that Lott or parcell of Ground
       with the appurtenances lying and being on Church Street in teh City of
       Annapolis discribed Number forty five by the last Survey made of the said City
       And also all that Lott or parcel of Ground withthe appurtenances lying and
       being in the City aforesaid described Number forty six by the said last survey of hte
       said City and adjoining to the aforesaid Lott Number forty five To have and to
       hold the said Lotts or parcels of Ground and Premisses with the appurtenances
       hereby bargained and sold or mentioned or intended to be hereby bargained and sold
       unto the said Joseph Galloway his Executors Administrators and Assigns from
       the day next before the day of the Date of these presents for during and unto the full
       End and Term of one whole year from thence next ensuing and fully to be
       compleat and ended To the Intent and Purpose that the said Joseph Galloway may
       be the better enabled to receive and take a Grant or ^Re^lease of the Premisses hereby
       bargained and sold or mentioned or intended to be hereby bargained and sold to him
       and his assigns for and during the Natural Life of him teh said Henry Woodward
       in such sort manner and Form as in and by one Indenture intended to bear date
       the Day next after the Day of hte Date of htese presents the same shall be granted
       released and conveyed In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto
       interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the day and year first above written
