       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus written viz.t
      
       Received on the day and year first within written of and from
       the within named Stephen Steward the sum of one hundred a
       and sixty eight Pounds Sterling being the consideration
       money within mentioned to be by him paid to me
       Witness                              I say reced by

       On the 30.th day of October 1765 Came before us the subscribers two
       of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann.ll County the within
       named Samuel Chew and Acknowledged the within Instrument of
       Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses within
       mentioned to be granted bargained and sold to be the Right
       and Estate of the within named Stephen Steward his heirs
       and assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the
       within Deed and the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided
       and at the same time came before Eliz.a Chew the wife of the said
       Samuel Chew who being by me privately examined a part from & out
       of the Hearing of her said Husband did release and did declare that
       she by this her acknowledgement intend to release to the aforesaid
       Stephen Steward and his heirs all her Right Title and Interest of Dower
       of in & to the Lands and premisses within mentioned and also that
       she made this her acknowledgement willingly and freely without being
       induced thereto by Fears or Threats of her said Husband or through
       Fear of his Displeasure according to the act of assembly aforesaid
                         Taken and Acknowledged before            W.m Steuart

          Received the 30.th October 1765 of Stephen Steuard six shillings and
       nine pence Sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the
       Alienation Fine on the Within land and by Virtue of a Commission
       from Edward Lloyd Esq his said Lordships Agent and
       Receiver General

       Francis Hardisty of Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland
