4376 MUNICIPAL CHARTERS
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF WESTMINSTER That pursuant to the provisions of
Article XIE of the Constitution of the State of Maryland
and of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1957 Volume as Amended) the following Sections of
Article 7 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll
County, be repealed or repealed and re容nacted with
amendments, namely;
That Section 738 be repealed in its entirety and
that a new Section 73 8 be enacted in lieu thereof; that
Section 739 (Charter Resolution No. 2 dated January 9,
1967) be repealed and re容nacted with amendments; that
sub耀ection (d) of Section 739A (Charter Resolution No.
4, dated October 19, 1970) be repealed and re容nacted
with amendments; that sub-section (a) of Section 741 be
repealed and re容nacted with amendments; that Section
741A be repealed and re容nacted with amendments; that
Section 743 be repealed and re容nacted with amendments;
that Section 744 be repealed in its entirety and that a
new Section 744 be enacted in lieu thereof; that Section
745 be repealed in its entirety and that a new Section
745 be enacted in lieu thereof; that Section 747 be
repealed and re容nacted with amendments; that
sub耀ections (b) and (i) of Section 758 be repealed and
re容nacted with amendments; that Section 763 be repealed
and re容nacted with amendments; that Section 767 be
repealed in its entirety and that a new Section 767 be
enacted in lieu thereof; that Sections 769, 770, 77 1, 772
and 773 be repealed in their entirety; that Sections 774,
775 and 776 be repealed in their entirety and that a new
Section 774 be enacted in lieu thereof; that Section 7 80
be repealed in its entirety; that Section 787 be repealed
and re容nacted with amendments; that Sections 788 and 789
be repealed in their entirety; that Section 790 (as
amended by Charter Resolution No- 6, dated September 13,
1971) be repealed and re容nacted with amendments; that
Section 792 be repealed in its entirety; that Section 793
be repealed and re容nacted with amendments; that Section
7 95 be repealed and re容nacted with amendments; that
Section 903 be repealed and re容nacted with amendments;
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF WESTMINSTER:
[Sections 769, 770, 771, 772, 773, 780, 788, 789,
and 792 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Carroll
County, repealed.
Effective Date March 23, 1976]
[Sections 738, 744, 745, and 767 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Carroll County, repealed and added.
