CERTIFICATIONS

Provisions of Limited Duration. For the purpose of
providing for provisions of limited duration which implement
a Constitutional amendment; providing for a new article in
the Constitution under which all provisions of limited
duration shall be placed; providing that all provisions
under the new article shall cease to be a part of the
Constitution in accordance with its own terms; and
submitting this amendment to the qualified voters of the
State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.

And it is hereby certified that at said election,
394,063 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 680
and 124,186 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Chapter 680, the said Chapter 680 of the Acts of 1977 has
therefore been ratified by the qualified voters of the State
of Maryland.

Administrative Board of Election Laws of the State of
Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 30th day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine
Hundred and Seventy-Eight.

STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article
33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of Maryland
on November 7, 1978, an Act known as Chapter 681 of the Acts
of 1977 was submitted to the voters of the State of Maryland
under the provisions of Article XIV of the Constitution of
the State of Maryland, said Act being as follows:

AN ACT concerning Constitution - Obsolete, Inaccurate,
Invalid, Unconstitutional, or Duplicative Provisions. For
the purpose of removing or correcting constitutional
provisions which are obsolete, inaccurate, invalid,
unconstitutional, or duplicative; generally relating to
technical revisions of the Maryland Constitution; and
submitting this amendment to the qualified voters of the
State of Maryland for their adoption or rejection.

And it is hereby certified that at said election,
482,089 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter 681
