AN ACT to amend Chapter 200 of the Wicomico County Code
titled "Subdivision of Land" by repealing and reenacting
with amendments and additions, Section 200-8, Subsection E,
Section 200-15, and Section 200-21, Subsection C, to include
provisions relating to the responsibility for the
maintenance of storm water drainage systems in subdivisions,
the encroachment upon or filling of flood plains, and
provisions relating to the notice to be given to potential
property owners on subdivision final plats.

WHEREAS, the County Council of Wicomico County finds it
advisable to amend the Subdivision of Land Chapter of the
Wicomico County Code, to add certain provisions relating to
the notice to be given to potential property owners by a
subdivision final plat, the encroachment upon or filling of
flood plains and the responsibility for the maintenance of
storm water drainage systems in subdivisions, for the
protection of the health, safety and welfare of the citizens
of Wicomico County.
