RESOLUTION NO. 273

CHARTER AMENDMENT NO. 33

A RESOLUTION of the Commissioners of Aberdeen adopted
pursuant to the authority of Article 11E of the Constitution
of Maryland and of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1957 Edition and amendments thereto), title
"Corporations - Municipal", and specifically pursuant to
Section 19 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland,
sub-title "Home Rule," sub-heading "Annexation," to enlarge
the corporate boundaries of the area incorporated by The
Commissioners of Aberdeen, by amending the public local laws
of Harford County, being a part of Article 13 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland by adding to Section 2
entitled "Corporate Limits" and annexing to said corporate
boundaries the following area, contiguous to and adjoining
the present corporate boundaries, being the same in all the
land described as follows:

[Section 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Harford
County (1965 Edition and 1971 Supplement), repealed and
reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date January 26, 1981]

TO AMEND

SECTIONS 1(b) AND 4 OF THE CITY CHARTER

A RESOLUTION of the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of
Annapolis, adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E
of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Article
23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement
Volume and Supplements), titled "Corporations-Municipal",
for the purpose of amending Sections 1(b) and 4 of the
Charter of the City of Annapolis to provide that the City
residency requirement for persons seeking election as an
Alderman of the City of Annapolis shall be reduced from two
(2) years immediately preceding the election to one (1) year
immediately preceding the elections, and all matters
