The seven hundred and forty-seventh volume of the Archives of Maryland series was written by C. Ashley Ellefson and published by the Archives of Maryland in 2007.

The Maryland State Archives acknowledges with gratitude the opportunity to publish William Bladen of Annapolis, 1673?-1718: "the most capable in all Respects" or "Blockhead Booby?", by C. Ashley Ellefson.
