MUNICIPAL -CHARTERS

Article XI-E ("Municipal Corporations") of the Constitution of
Maryland and of Section 13 (under subtitle "Home Rule") of
Article 23A ("Corporations-Municipal") of the Annotated Code of
Maryland to amend the Charter of the City of Taneytown (1978
Edition) by amending Section 511 entitled "Conduct of Elections"
to provide for revised hours for the polls for municipal
elections.

of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.

RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND COMMON COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF UNION BRIDGE TO AMEND THE TOWN CHARTER

CHARTER RESOLUTION NO. 10-83

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Council of the Town of Union
Bridge have found that certain provisions of the Town Charter are
obsolete and in need of revision so as to enable the Town to
properly carry out its mandated functions; and

WHEREAS, Article 23A, Section 13, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland provides for Municipal Charter Amendments by resolution.
