       the same month in the Records of the County Court
       of the county aforesaid

                Given under my hand and seal of office this
                Eighteenth day of July in the year one thousand
                eight Hundred and six

       Maryland Prince Georges County to wit

             I hereby Certify that Thomas the bearer hereof
       commonly called Tom Levy a dark Mulatto Man
       about twenty three years old of rather a slender
       form marked in the face with a large scar from
       above his left eye down across the upper part of his
       nose to the right eye  And a small scar on the upper
       part of his forehead a little inclined to the left;
       five feet seven and a Quarter inches high who was
       raised in the Town of Upper Marlborough in Prince
       Georges County is a freeman and became free on the
       Twenty fifth day of July Eighteen Hundred and
       one in virtue of a Deed of Manumission from
       Samuel Hepburn

                   Given under my hand and seal of office this
                   twenty third day of July in the year one
                   thousand eight Hundred and six
