                                                   June Court 1716
   John Hodges if he Shall be found in your Baylwick & him Safe keep So that yo
   have his body before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our Co[urt]
   house in the Town of Chester in Said County on the third Tuesday in June
   next to Satisfie unto George Hill of Kent County Shipcarpenter the Sume of
   five hundred and thirty five pounds of Tobacco Cost on Non Suite Recovered
   by the Considerations of the Justices of our Said Court the Twenty fourth day
   of this Instant March whereof he was Convict as appears upon Record together
   with the Sume of forty Six pounds of Tobacco Cost on this precept thereof~
   faile not at your peril and have you then and there this writ witness James
   Harris Gentn chiefe Justice of our Said Court the 24th day of March in the first
   year of our Dominion &c.a Anno Domini 1715 .    .    .    .

      Att which Send next Court viz.t this nineteenth day of June Anno Domi
   one Thousand Seven hundred and Sixteen the day of return of Said writ Came
   William Frisby Gentleman high Sherf of Said County and made Return
   thereof in these words thereon endorsed as folls viz:t Cepi Corpus ———
                                                                            pr    Wm Ffrisby Sherf——
   Jediah Andrews . . | Sciri facias Debt thirty pounds —
                     at | Currant Silver money Cost four ——
   Daniel Pearce & Tho Cooke | hundred forty five pds of Tobacco the
   Spl. bayle Chr Philipson—— | Sherf made return of the Same
   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | that he had made known to the
   afd Daniel Pearce and Thomas Cooke Special bayle as afd [as it was?]
   by the afd Sciri facias Commanded &c.a
   and now at this Court Came the afd Daniel Pearce and Thomas
   Cooke as Special bayle for the afd Christopher Philipson and [by?]
   James Earle there attry and appeared to the above accon &.
   prayd liberty thereof to imparle thereto and to answer at~
   next Court which was granted the Same day was given the Plt.
