WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor

(8) (9) Two Three members of the general public who
have had experience with problems of persons suffering from
Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder or other diseases or
conditions afflicting the aged and elderly; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the chairman of the Coordinating Council
shall be the consumer member; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the staff for the Coordinating Council
continue to be provided by the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Coordinating Council submit a preliminary
an interim report of its findings and recommendations, including
any legislative recommendations, to the Governor and the General
Assembly by December 1, 1987 and a final report by November 1,
1988; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded by the
Department of Legislative Reference to the Honorable William
Donald Schaefer, Governor of Maryland; the Honorable Thomas V.
Mike Miller, Jr., President of the Senate of Maryland; and the
Honorable R. Clayton Mitchell, Jr., Speaker of the House of
Delegates; the Honorable Adele Wilzack, Secretary of the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, 201 West Preston Street,
Baltimore, MD 21201; the Honorable Ruth Massinga, Secretary of
the Department of Human Resources, 1100 N. Eutaw Street,
Baltimore, MD 21201; the Honorable Rosalie Abrams, Director on
Aging, Room 1004, 301 West Preston Street, Baltimore, MD 21201;
Edward J. Muhl, Insurance Commissioner, 501 Saint Paul Place,
Baltimore, MD 21202; Carville M. Akehurst, Chairperson, State
Health Resources Planning Commission, 201 West Preston Street,
Baltimore, MD 21201; and John Toll, President, University of
Maryland, Adelphi, MD 20783.
