AN ACT concerning

CHAPTER 804
(House Bill 662)

Public Ethics - Honoraria

FOR the purpose of prohibiting certain State officials from
accepting honoraria or certain other types of fees for
participation in or appearance before certain organizations,
groups, associations, or public or private institutions by
reason of their official positions; providing a certain
exception under certain conditions; providing certain
exceptions; defining a certain term; making stylistic
changes; and generally relating to the prohibition against
acceptance of honoraria.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section(s) l-201(n) through (hh), respectively, of
Article 40A - Maryland Public Ethics Law of the Annotated Code of
Maryland be renumbered to be Section(s) l-201(o) through (ii),
respectively.

SECTION 1. 2. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
