AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code,
titled "ZONING" by restating and amending Article I, Subsection
225-3 titled, "Definitions and word usage".

WHEREAS, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid Section
of the Wicomico County Code, upon the favorable recommendation of
the Wicomico County Planning and Zoning Commission, with regard
to establishing new definitions and revising existing terms for
clarification purposes.

BILL 23 - 1988

AN ACT to amend Chapter 225 of the Wicomico County Code,
titled "ZONING", amending the map entitled "Wicomico County
Zoning Map" referred to in Section 76 of said Chapter, to rezone
certain property which is bounded by Camden Avenue on the East;
bounded by the Salisbury Corporate Limits on the North; bounded
by the Wicomico River on the West; and bounded on the South by
the Fruitland Town Corporate Limits and Tony Tank Creek, from an
R-20 Residential District to an R-21 Residential District.

WHEREAS, it appears that a change has occurred in the
character of the area herein described; and

WHEREAS, it appears that a mistake was made in the existing
zoning classification which could adversely affect the
development of the area; and

WHEREAS, the R-21 Residential District has been created
since the zoning of the hereinafter described area, and this
Ordinance is being presented to further and better clarify the
uses in the newly created zoning district; and

WHEREAS, it appears advisable to amend the aforesaid "Zoning
Ordinance of Wicomico County, Maryland" to redefine and rezone
the area referred to, and herein described; therefore:
