one thousand eight hundred and fifty four before the
subscriber a justice of the peace of the State of Maryland
in and for Baltimore County aforesaid personally
appeared Jeremiah Ducker John Nelson and
Harriet Nelson parties to the foregoing deed of Manumission
or instrument of writing and did severally acknowledge
the same to be their respective act and deed.  In testimony
whereof I hereunto subscribe my name on the day and
year aforesaid.

State of Maryland Baltimore County to wit:
       I hereby certify that George W. Fisher esquire who appears
to have taken certified and signed the aforegoing acknowledgments
of Jeremiah Ducker John Nelson and Harriet
Nelson was at the time of so doing a justice of the peace
of the State of Maryland in and for Baltimore County
duly commissioned and sworn
       ((Seals))      In testimony whereof I have hereto set my
       ((Place))      hand and affixed the seal of the circuit
                          court for Baltimore County the 27th day of
March Anno Domini 1854

State of Maryland Howard County Sct.       Be it
remembered and is it hereby certified that on this twentieth
day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and fifty three before the subscriber a justice
of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for
Howard County aforesaid personally appeared Cassy
Nelson, Caroline Nelson, Nicholas R. Nelson and
Henry D. Nelson parties to the foregoing deed of Manumission
or instrument of writing and did severally acknowledge
the same to be their respective act and deed.      In
testimony whereof we hereunto subscribe our names on
the day and year aforesaid

presented fro record one dollar in lieu of stamp under
