Four beadsteads & Bedding two Beaureaus one dining and
two breakfast tables one Toilet & one side Table Three Looking
Glasses one Sofa six can bottom chairs one cane seat
Rocking Chair one dozen wood bottom chairs to Rocking ditto
one misses Rocker Four Carpets one safe, two cushioned
arm chairs one stove and cooking utensils one set cupboard
Ware, three flat Irons Shovel and tongs four Shoats and
one milch Cow.   Witness my hand and seal this seventh
day of January Eighteen hundred and fifty eight

State of Maryland Howard County to wit:
    I hereby Certify that on this Seventh day of January
in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty eight personally
appeared before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and
for Howard County aforesaid Osborn McBee and acknowledged
the foregoing Bill of Sale to be his act and the said Hunt
did at the same time make oath on the Holy Evangely of
Almighty God that the consideration in said Bill of Sale
is Just and true as therein set forth

Bill of Sale to
Amelia Woods
I Eden Shipley of Howard County and
State of Maryland in consideration of the
Sum of three hundred and fifty Dollars
current money paid me Amelia Woods of
the County and State aforesaid do hereby bargain and sell to the
said Amelia Woods the following property to Wit:  one Grey mare
named "Kit" one Grey horse named "Cale" two sets of Harness for
double driving one white cow named "Rose" one two horse wagon
one Carriage one set single harness.         Witness my hand &
Seal this fifth day of January in the year Eighteen hundred
and fifty eight

State of Maryland Howard County to wit:
       I hereby certify that on this 5th day of January 1858
personally appeared before the Subscriber a Justice of
the Peace for the said State and County aforesaid Eden
Shipley and acknowledged the foregoing Bill of sale to
be his act and at the same time before me also appeared
Amelia Woods and made oath in due form of Law
