On this Sixth day of January in the year eighteen
hundred and fifty eight before me the Subscriber a
Justice of the Peace of the said State in and for the
County aforesaid personally appeared Wilson McBee
and Matthias Hammond parties to the above bill of sale
and severally acknowledged the above instrument of
Writing to be their act and deed

Received to be recorded on the 25th day of January 1858 at
one Oclock P. M. Same day recorded & examined

I Mathias Amend of said County
In consideration of four hundred
dollars paid me by John Amend of
                        Howard do hereby Bargan and sell to the said John Amend
                        the following property namely foure horses two cows
                        eight hogs one foure horse waggon Sixty bbls ^of^ corn
                        two 2 horse Plows three double Shoves witness my
                        hand and seal this 26th day of January in the year
                        of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty eight

                        I hereby Certify that on 26th day of Jan 1858 personly
                        appeared Mathias Amend and acknowledged an foregoing
                        Bill of Sale to be his act and deed given under my

                        County State of maryland
