and sell unto the said Thomas F Troxell his executors Administrators
and Assigns one Negro Girl named or called Juliet
aged between ten and eleven years and being a slave for life
       To Have and To Hold the said described Negro Girl Juliet
to the said Thomas F Troxell his Executors Administrators
and assigns forever.         And I the said Hezekiah Linthicum
for my heirs Executors and Administrators the said
negro Girl Juliet and the said Thomas F Troxell his Executors
Administrators and assigns against the said Hezekiah
Linthicum my Executors and Administrators and against
all and every other persons and person whomsoever shall and
will warrant and forever defend by these presents
    In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this fifteenth day of December Eighteen hundred and 59

Be it remembered That on this fifteenth day of December
Eighteen hundred & fifty nine before the Subscriber a Justice
of the Peace for said County appeared Hezekiah
Linthicum and acknowledged the foregoing Instrument
of Writing to be his act and deed.   And now at the same
time before me personally appeared also Thomas F.
Troxell the within named bargainee and made oath in
due form of law that the Consideration set forth in the
foregoing Bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein
set forth      In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto
subscribed my name on the day and year aforesaid
