be anything Either in the Matter or Stile of them wch may be
retrenched or altered you are to represent the same unto his
Majtye wth yor Opinion touching the said Laws now in force
whereof you are to send a Compleate Body unto his Majtye
and to the Comissioners for Trade and Plantations wth such
alterations as you shall think requisite to the End his Majtyes
Approbation or disallowance may be Signifyed thereupon
3: And you are to pmitt liberty of Conscience to all prsons
soe they be Contented wth a quiet Enjoyment of it not Giveing
offence or Scandall to the Govrmt
4: You shall not pass any Act or Ordr wthin his Majtyes said
province in any Case for Leavying money and Inflicting fines
and Penaltyes whereby the same shall not be reserved to his
Majty for the Publick vses as by the said Act or ordr shall be
Directed.
5: And his Majtyes further will & Pleasure is that you
recommend unto the next Genll Assembly the raiseing of such
other Supplyes from time to time as may be Sufficient for
Defraying the other Nessary Charges of the Govermt His
Majtyes Express will & Pleasure is that all Lawes wtsoever for
the good Govermt & Support of his said province be Indeffi-
nite & wthout Limitation of time Except the same be for a
Temporary End & wch shall Expire and have its full Effect
wthin a Certaine Time & therefore you shall not Re Enact any
Law wch shall have been Enacted by you Except upon very
Vrgent occassions but in noe Case more then once wthout his
Majtys Express Consent

6: And that God Allmighty may be the more Inclined to
bestowe his blessing upon his Majtye and you in the well fare
and Improvemt of that Province you shall Take Especiall Care
that he be Devoutly & Duely Served wthin your Governmt the
book of Comon prayer as it is now Established read Each
Sunday and holiday and the blessed Sacrament administred
according to the Right of the Church of England you shall
take care that the Churches already built there be well and
orderly Kept and more built as the province shall be by gods
blessing be improved & that besides a competent Maintenance
to be Assigned to the Minister of Each Church a convenient
house be built at the Comon Charge for each Minister
7: And whereas upon complaints that have been made unto
his Majty of the Irregular pceedings of the Capts of some of
his Shipps of Warr in the impressing of Seamen in Sevrall of
his plantations his Majty hath thought fitt to order and hath
given direccons to the Comissioners of the Admralty accord-
ingly that when any Capt or Comander of any of the Shipps
of Warr in any of his said plantacons shall haue occasion for
Seamen to Serve on bord the Shipp vnder their Comand
