        the Defence of the ffrontiers of New York; which Regulation

        having been very unequally comply'd with (and by Maryland

        but in Some Small measure) his Maty does Expect that all tht are

        comprehended therein should punctually contribute theirrespec

        tive proportions either in Men or Money, from time to time, as

        occasion asks; Which we are accordingly obliged to require

        of you as others.

          Some Acts past in the Generall Assembly, and other Publick

        papers of that Province (amongst wch is the Address relating

        to Collonel Copleys Estate) lye yet under Consideracon; and

        you shall in due time be acquainted what is done thereupon so

        we bid you very heartily ifarewell.

        with Capt Daniell Comander of his mats hired Ship the

        Daniell abt the inconveniences of the   Prince of Orange be called in who accordingly

                 appears. He is asked to give an Accot to the

        Masters of best of his knowledge what sort of inconveniences

        Ships &ca the Masters of Ships have Layn under here, during

        this winter Season and what weather it has generally been

        for the Saylers working whereby the masters might be

        Enabled to get their Loadings ready to which Capt Danll

        makes Answer that he has kept a Journall of every days

        weather since his being here the which he is Ready to pro

        duce and does Say that he gave an Accot to the Cornodore of

        the great obstruction the masters have met with through the

        Extream severity of the Winter season and believes that if

        they had not met with such Extraordinary Sharpe weather

        they might most of them have been ready by this time.
