I must not omitt to lett yor Excy know that the burthen has
laid extraordinary upon me, I have been at very great charges
wth Councill and other wise while the affaire of the Law lay

gett their end their but that a new bill would be sent back
with the Kings recommendation to be pass'd into a Law they
did then peticon his Maty: to be heard in Councill agt it,
where I was also ordered to appeare with my Councill on the

Services have been done to the Countrey but as to money
out of pockett in soliciteing an affaire of the greatest import-
ance to Maryland I shall Expect to be reimbursed which was
upwards of fifty pounds and I humbly recomend it to yor Excy
to represent this to the next Assembly.
