Mr Wm Harris Mr Phill. Loyd and George Muschamp Esqre
a Comittee appointed for Elections and priviledges sent out
and the Indentures delivered for Ann Arundell County dele-
gates.
Peticon of Majr James Maxwell read and the consideration
thereof is referred to the Committee of accounts.
The ace' of Collo Loyd for cleaning of Arms in Talbott
County was here Read and Resolved the same be satisfied.
Therefore ordered tht it be endorsed, To his Excy for satis-
faccon thereof which was accordingly done.
Mr Wm Dent produced his account for cleaning of Arms in
Charles County amo to 09l.. 18s.. 6d which was here read and
approved and ordered to be endorsed to desire his Excy to pay
the same according to ordinance of Assembly.
Collo Edwd Loyd and Collo Wm Holland enter the house and
delivers Mr Speaker the following Engrossed Bills.
Bill prohibitting abuses comitted by Wood's Rangers.
Bill prohibitting horse races on Saturdays.
Bill confirmeing Manns Testament.
Bill for Releife of Kent and Calvert County's.
Bill for Naturallization of Hermanus Schee and others, to-
gether with the originalls
Committee of Election and priviledges enters the house and
Reports that Mr Charles Greenberry and Mr Lawrence Draper
are only Elected for Ann Arundell County.
Resolved Nemine Contradicente tht a prsent of ffower hun-
dred pounds Sterling be made his Excy for his signall Services
done to this province and message for that purpose sent as
follo viz:

By the house of Delegates March 24th 1701/2

May it please Your Excy
We doe againe acknowledge your Excy wise and just con-
duct and Government and the care you have taken to lessen
the charge & Expences of this province which wee are sensi-
bly affected with and as a gratefull recognicon thereof we de-
sire your Excy to accept of fower hundred pounds Str: to be
paid out of the first money that cann be raized after those
burthens that are upon us.

Majr Charles Greenberry and Mr Lawrence Draper two
Dellegates elected for Ann Arundell County enters the house.
Ordered that Mr Samll Young and Mr Mathias Vander-
hayden goe up to his Excy and Councill to see them sworne.
They returne and say they have seen them sworne accord-
ingly.
