    same to seize to her Majtys Vse & also to put in Execution Lib. H. D.

    all other Lawfull Powers & Authoritys for the better man

    aging & Collecting the said Dutyes in all things proceeding

    as the Law directs And I Doe by Virtue of the authority

    afd Impower and authorize you to Appoint one or more fitt

    Person or Persons to be Deputy or Deputys under you with

    the Approbation of the Honble the Comissioners or the Sur

    veyr Genll for the Time being in any of the said Ports,

    Harbours, Inletts Bays or Creeks for whom you are to be

    Responsable, and from whom you are security to take Hereby

    praying and Requireing all and Every of her Majtys Officers

    Civill & Military and all others whom it may Concerne to

    he aiding and assisting to you in all things as becometh,

    Given under my hand & seal of office in Philadelphia this

    fifteenth Day of November in the Eight year of the Reigne

    of our Soveraign Lady Anne Queen of Great Brittain

    France & Ireland &c Annoq Dni 1709

      Pursuant to An Act of Assembly Entituled An Act for the p. 638

    Dividing and Regulating of Severall Countys on the Eastren

    Shore &c

      These therefore may certify that Wee the Subscribers

    hereof being authorised and Appointed by the said Act for

    to have the County of Kent Regulated and the Bounds

    thereof ascertained according to the Direction of the said Act

    have this Day to witt the 12th day of August 1706 Called

    before us Iames Harris Deputy Surveyor & have runn as

    followeth viz. Beginning at the South end of the Long horse

    Bridge at the head of Sassafrax River and running East and

    by South and by a Double Line of Marked Trees untill it

    over the main Bridge of Black Birds Creek and to the Extent

    of the said Province of Maryland. It being the Division

    Line between the aforesaid Kent County & Caecill as witt

    ness our hands and Seales the Day and year above men

    tioned &c.
