    this is the heads that Occurs at present, and that what he Lib. M

    Chiefly Minded was what Majr Perrie said of Esqr Bennett,

    and Esqr Hollyday, and that he did Design to have told

    Mr Hollyday of it next Day, but having just then a Petition

    in the Lower House of Assembly Deffered it beleiving it

    might do him an Injury, and further this Deponant Saith

    not, only that Mr McGruder the Burgess was in Company

    Some of the time, and he beleives heard Mr Perrie Speak

    about Esqr Bennett and Esqr Hollyday

      The Deposition in this Sheet taken before

                                     Levin Gale

   

      Which being Read & Consider'd it is Order'd by this

    Board that the said Justices or Either of them take Such p. 6

    Measures against the aforementioned Samuel Perrie

    Drury Bigger Head and Wilson as is agreeable to Law

    and that they or Either of them vse their utmost Endeavours

    to Discover Such other persons as have been Concerned in

    Encourageing & Countenanceing any of the Measures pro

    posed in the said Paper or in the Publishing or Dispersing

    thereof.

      Order'd that Copys of the said Depositions and such other

    Papers as relate thereto be Transmitted to the Attorney

    General in order to take such Measures as the Law Directs

    to Punish the said Offenders.

      Order'd that the Clerk of this Board give Notice hereof

    to the said Justices with all Convenient Speed.

      The before mentioned Edward Harris appears at this Board

    psuant to a Recognizance entred into before the said Justices

    & order'd that the said Harris be Discharged therefrom

      Severall Accounts being Laid before this board for work

    done to the Council Room Order'd that Charles Calvert and

    Benja Tasker Esqr Inspect & settle the same with the Severall

    Persons in order to be Allowed at the next Council

   

   

   

      At a Council held in the Council Chamber on Saturday the

    2d of November 1728
