All read the 1st & 2d time and Sent up to his Excy and
Councill p Coli Smallwood Mr Fowlks and Mr Dollahyde.
They returne and say they deliverd the bills
The Indenture for Mr Richd Iones A member for Ann
Arrundell County sent up to the Comittee of Elections to be
considerd of
The peticon of Iohn Nicholls read & Referrd till to morrow
for consideration
Mr Thomas Reynolds being brought to the barr pursuant
to an order of this house and being chargd with A breach of
privileidge in arresting George Vallentine is now under debate
& the said Reynolds and Vallentine orde'd to withdraw
Which matter being fully debated the house is of opinion
that in reguard Mr Reynolds did give the said Vallentine
notice of his privileidge And did not pretend to Arrest him
but with a reserve to his privileidge therefore is not guilty of
A willfull breach of the privileidge of this house.
And therefore resolvd the sd Reynolds be dischargd and
the Arrest declared Void.
