to be transcribed.

Libr I K to be new bound and Alphabetted and the first
leafe to be transcribed.
Libr H to be transcribd in A Well bound book.
Libr R A Small pamphlett new markd to be transcribd &
Alphabetted with some other small books in A well bound
book. Which are All the books that want imediate repaire
as it Seems to the Comittee
And its further offerd to the house by the said Comittee that
its Very expedient and Wilbe much for the preservation of
the said Records for the future that such benches or Desks be
made for placing the same on as the new Register of the land
office shall direct for that it appeares to the said Comittee that
the boxes wherein they are now kept Add more to their
destruction then preservation and Serve only to wear them to
peices.
The further consideration of which is referrd and Submitted
to the house by the said Comittee.

Which reporte being read and debated its Resolvd this
house Concurr with the report of the Comitee And orderd
that Mr Samll Younge Mr Charles Greenberry see the same
Complyd with as requird And make report thereof to next
Sessions of Assembly for which an Allowance to be made.
Orderd the foil message be sent his Excy vizt
Resolvd by this house that its necessary for the safety of
this province that the Secretary who has the keeping of the
records before his entring into his office be oblidgd and bound
to preserve the books in which the records are Contained in
As good Condition as he receives them at his owne charge
And they be visited At meeting of every Assembly And that
if any defect be in keeping the records to be repaird and made
good out of his owne Estate And that the present Secretary
Give Securely as Aboue to wch the Councills Concurrence is
pray'd. Signd p order Wm Taylard Cl ho Del.

Mooved by A member that A Clause in his Excys Speech
relating to building A house for her Majtys Govr be read
Which was read and debated, And put to the Question
whither the Countrey is at present in A Capacity of building
a house for her Majts Governor as requird or not
