What the Comittee of Accots haue Allowd Shall pass for this
time And for the future no more then one orriginall here and
two Coppys to be sent home Shalbe chargeable to the province.
To which this house prays the Concurrence of the honoble
Councill with which wee consent to the Iournall.

Having an Entire dependance on the Assureances yor Excy
has Given us of Your resolucons to Governe us According to
law And preserving us in our rights & property's And Your
Willingness to Assent to What may be reasonably proposed
for the ease And Welfare of the province Wee haue propos'd
to prsent Yor Excy with thirty pounds in money Yearly to de-
fray the charge of your house rent while Yor Excy continues
this Gournment Which wee pray You to Accept And Under-
stand us candidly in All things

Read and Approovd of by the house & sent up to his Excy
by Mr Iohn Taylor Edwd Blay Francis Dollahyde Ion Iones and
Ino Waters.

Upon reading the Act for limittacon of Officers fees it was
orderd the following Message be Sent up.

By the house of Delegates octob 3d 1704

Wee haue Considerd the reasonableness of the Surveyors
fees as regulated by the bill and finding them most Iust And
fitting cannot consent to any Alteration the former Setlement
in that point being Experienced to haue been oppressive to
the people And A great Agreivance And Severall persons
Now in this house that haue been and are in that Employ-
ment being Sencible of the Iustice thereof are content there-
with and Wee pray Your honours to consider of and concurr
with us that the law may not be laid Aside to the Great in-
convenience of the Countrey.
