vided that the said Exporter who desireth the benefitt of the
said Debenture or drawback shall declare on his Corporall
Oath to be Administred by the said Officer on the Holy
Evangelists that the said Rume Brandy Spiritts or Wine by

him desired to be exported is part of the said Rum Brandy
Spiritts or Wine by him imported and made report thereof as
aforesaid. This Act to endure for three years or to the end of
the next Sessions of Assembly which shall next happen after
the end of the said three years.

An Act Impowering the Comissioners of the County Courts
to levy and raise Tobacco to defray the Necessary Charges
of their Countys and parishes.

Be it Enacted by the Queens most excellent Majesty by and
with the Advice and Consent of her Majestys Governour
Councill and Assembly of this province and the Authority of
the same That for the future it shall and may be lawfull to and
for the Severall and respective Comissioners of the Severall
and respective County Courts within this Province at their
severall and respective County Courts to be held for their
said Countys upon examination had before them of the Publiq
Charges of their Severall and respective Countys and allow-
ances by them made of the same to levy and raise Tobacco for
payment and Satisfaction of the severall and respective County
Charges and the Sheriffs Sallary for Collecting thereof by an
equall Assessment of the Taxable persons of the said severall
Countys any former Law Act Usage or Custom to the Con-
trary in any wise Notwithstanding.
And be it further Enacted by the Authority Advice and
Consent aforesaid that the Clark of each respective County
within this Province shall keep Account of such Tobacco
levyed and how disposed of in a fair book apart from other
Matters and a true copy thereof under the hand of the respec-
tive County Clark and under the Seale of the said County by
the said County Clerks be yearly and every year transmitted to
