May it please your Ex^ncy

Wee have Taken your Ex^ncys Speech at the opening of this
Session into our Consideration and have Resolved with all
the unanimity & Dispatch propper to such a Conjuncture to
take all possible care proper for the preservation of the
Records & Restoring the State house to its former beauty
and usefulness by Rebuilding and making Good the Bricks
thereof. Wee shall be very sorry to be found in such a mis-
take as to Imagin that we cann have a Seperate Interest from
that of the Crowne of England but hope that constant unan-
imity of our Debates and Resolutions will shew us to have
no other Intentions or Designs then such as may Tend to her
Ma^tys hon^r and the good of the Country.

And as we shall be att all times very Cearfull to avoid the
Entertainm^t of Jelouscy & Runing Ourselves into heats &
misconstructions so we shall very Readily Joyne with your
Ex^ncy and her Ma^tys hon^ble Councill in whatsoever shall appear
to be for her Ma^tys hon^r and the Good of the Country.

As to the Indians business When the Ex^ncy shall think fitt
to Lay it before us we shall not only give our best Advice &
Assistance therein but further it with all the unanimity and
dispatch which may be proper for that Affaire.

S^r Wee are very sensible of y^r Ex^ncys Good Governm^t and
tender Reguard towards us & doe hope that the same tender-
ness will be Continued to us: and wee take this opeartunity
to assure your Ex^ncy that as wee cann Entertain no Jealouscys
so we shall be Allways ready to make returnes of Gratitude
for the Enjoyment of so Great a blessing.
