further referred for that the House has not Time to proceed
thereupon this Session.
The Proposals made last Assembly, relating to the Exam-
iner General's Office & the Fees read ; and resolved the
same be utterly rejected.

Lib. 41.

Petition of Cecil County, Petition of Kent County, Petition
of Talbot County, for Division of their Counties is further
referred till next Session of Assembly.
The Petition of the Freeholders & Inhabitants of Saint
Paul's Parish in Prince George's County to ascertain their
Bounds read, but forasmuch as no Report is yet made of the
Order thereon, therefore referred till it be brought into the
House.
The Report of the Conference relating to the Land Office
& the Lord Baltimore's Agent referred to this Assembly being
read it's resolved by the House that it be further referred till
next Session of Assembly and that an Address be then pre-
pared to address her Majesty for Relief in the Premises.
The Proposal whether Indians brought from other Coun-
tries & sold here as Slaves are to be accounted such or not
referred, & now again moved it's resolved such Indians as are
sold for Slaves shall be so deemed & ordered that the Com-
mittee of Laws prepare a Bill.
The Proposal made last Session for the more Ease in the
Administration of Justice to the Inhabitants of this Province
was here read the further Consideration whereof is referred

till next Sessions of Assembly.

The Proposal of the Clerk of this House for Advancement
of Salary for Support of the said Office referred by last As-
sembly again read and the further Consideration thereof is
referred till next Session of Assembly.
Mr Thomas Greenfield & Mr Wm Barton Members for
Prince George's County & Mr James Hay a member for St
Mary's City enter the House & took their Places
The Committee appointed to view the Walls of the Stadt-
House enter the House & do report. That the walls are suffi-
cient to be rebuilt upon by sufficient careful workmen. Which
being read and debated it is put to the Question whether the
Stadt House be rebuilt in the same Form as before or not
Resolved Nemine Contradicente That the House be built in
the same Form & upon the same Walls as it was before pur-
suant to Report of the Committee
Mr Speaker produces a Letter from Mr William Bladen to
him directed which was read as follows Viz.
