Months from the publication of this Law or until her Majestys
Pleasure shall be declar'd therein.
Provided allways that this Act nor anything therein Con-
tain'd shall in no wise be Construed to extend to defeat
rescind abrogate or Suspend the fforce vigour or Effect of the
said Act for p'venting the Growth of popery in any other
Matter or thing whatsoever or for any longer time than what
is in and by this Present Act expressed and Declared

An Act for the Division of Saint Pauls Parish in Prince
Georges County

Whereas the Parishioners of Saint Pauls parish in Prince
Georges County Have humbly shewn to this Generall Assem-
bly that their Parish being more in length than fifty miles and
uncapable of being Supplyed by one Minister and that the
Great Number of the Inhabitants will afford a Comfortable
Maintenance for two Ministers Have therefore Supplicated
that the said parish may be divided into two parishes.
Be it therefore Enacted by the Queens most excellent
Majesty by and with the Advice and Consent of her Majestys
Govr Councill and Assembly of this province And the Au-
thority of the same that the said parish be divided and is and
shall forever hereafter be divided and the Divisionall Lines
begin and shall be adjudg'd and taken to beginn with the
Dividing branches of Puttuxent River and to run with the
Western branch to a branch called Cabbin branch by the
Plantation of a Certain Edward Willett and so with the Cab-
bin branch to the head thereof and the Souther most part to
be adjudg'd to be Saint Pauls parish.
And be it further Enacted by the Authority Advice and
Consent afd that the said St. Pauls Parish be further bounded
and divided by the Ridge between Puttuxent and Potomack
and the Eastern side of the said Ridge and the Northermost
part of the Western branch and Cabbin branch be adjudged
to be a new and distinct Parish to be called by the name of
