By the house of Dellegates May 24th 1705.

May it please yor honrs

As to Your Message Relating to the Seniquis Indians the
Chief or head men of those five Nations of Indians with
whom tis propos'd to Treat they will Come to Susquehannah
River where they may be Treated with & as to money to bare
the Charges of the Comissioners & to buy Presents for the
Indians this house will give directions therein to the Treas-
urers to Issue money Accordingly.

By the Councill in Assembly May 24th 1705

Upon Reading Your last message This Board do say they
have no Assurance of the Chief menn of five nations Coming
down to Susquehannah to Treat with us on failure whereof it
will be Absolutely Necessary our Comrs go to them at Albany
that we may be Certainly Assured of their friendship & what
Else we may Expect from them having been allready kept too
long in the Dark

Post Meridiem Council Sate Present as in the Morning

Capt Jones Brings up a Bill for the Relief of poor Debtors
from Excessive Imprisonmt & Execution ffees which was
Read and Rejected and sent to the house by Mr Coursey

Came Mr Aisquith with the Engrossed Bill to Enable Majr
Lowe to sell Wm Edmondsons Land to pay the Purchase
money wch was Read & Assented to and sent to the house by
Mr Coursey

Mr Eliaz King Brings up the Journall of the Comittee of
Accts which was Read and Assented to as well of Tobacco as
Moneys.
