clusion we have not yet seen the Address proposed to her
Majesty Concerning the aggrievance at present of Granting
Lands in this Province

Upon reading the Message by the honble James Sanders
Esqr relating to the Land Records &c this House Inspected
their Journal and find a former Vote that for as much as many
weighty Matters lay under Consideration It was resolved
the Consideration thereof be referred to next Session of As-
sembly Signed p Order Wm Taylard Cl Ho Del.
Came Col Smith and five other Members with the Journal
of the Committee of Accounts and following Message Viz.
By the House of Delegates October the 2nd 1704
Conceived by this House that by any Command of the
Queen or Law of this Province They are not bound to pay
lor any Copys of the Laws to be sent home .
Nevertheless this House to shew the Honour they have to our
Governour and to Settle this point for the future we will con-
sent that what the Committee of Accounts have allowed shall
pass for this Time and for the future no more than one original
here and two Copys to be sent home shall be chargeable to
the Province to which this House prays the Concurrence of
the honble Council with which we Consent to the Journal
