^/[r James Lloyd and M.' Mariartee came from the House of
Delegates to lett his Honour know they had nothing before
their House but waited his Commands

Col Addison and Mr Tilghman sent to acquaint Mr Speaker
and the members of the House of Delegates that the Honble
President requires them to attend him in the Council Chamber

Accordingly Mr Speaker and the Delegates came to attend
his Honour in Council and Mr Speaker presented to him the
following Bills which he prayed the President on her Majesty's
behalf would give his Assent unto Viz.

i. An Act for killing Wolves Crows & Squirrells

2. An Act to restrain the ill practice used by Sherriffs in
taking Goods by fieri facias & selling them by Venditioni
exponas

3. An Act for relief of Debtors & ascertaining the manner
of tenders in Tobacco

4. An Act ascertaining what shall be allowed to Grand
and Petite Jurors in the Provincial & County Courts of this
Province & Evidences Summoned to attend the said Courts

5. An Act for the more Speedy conveying of publick
Letters & packetts of this Province & defraying the Charge
thereof and to prevent the Abuses of breaking open & con-
cealing any Letters whatever
6. An Act of directions for the Sherrifts Office in this
Province & for the more Easy payment of the publick and
County Levy s

7. An Act against false packing of Tobo

8. An Act impowering the Justices of the several County
Courts within this Province to regulate the Bounds of their
Several Parishes within their respective Countys when dis-
putable and for ascertaining the Time & manner when and
how the 40 Ib tobo p poll shall become due & payable to the
minister or Incumbent of each Parish

9. An Act reviving an Act of Assembly of this Province
Entituled an Act prohibiting the importation of Bread Beer
Flower Malt Wheat or other English or Indian Grain or Meale
Horses Mares Colts or fillys from Pensilvania and the Terri-
torys thereto belonging

i o. An Act for regulating Writts of Error & granting
Appeals from and to the Courts of Common Law within this
Province.

ii. An Act for the payment & assessment of the publick
Charge of this Province
