Things as by the favour of Almighty God shall then and there
happen to be ordained and Enacted to the Glory of God her
Majesty's Honour and the Welfare of this Province Witness
myself at the City of Annapolis this 28th day of October in
the 11th year of our Reign &c Annoq Domini 1712

At the Council Chamber in the City of Annapolis Wednes-
day October the 29th in the Eleventh year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lady Queen Ann of Great Brittain &c Annoq
Domini 1712
Present
The Honble Edwd Lloyd Esqr President
Col Wm Holland Col Wm Whittington
Saml Young Esqr Phill Lloyd Esqr
Col Charles Greenberry Col Richd Tilghman
John Hall Esqr and
Col Thos Addison Capt John Dorsey

The General Assembly of this Province standing Prorogued
until this Day, Capt Richd Jones one of the Delegates for Ann
Arundel County acquainted the Honble President that there
were a Sufficient number of Delegates met in the House and
were ready to attend him in Council
The Honble Col Greenberry & Col Tilghman were ordered
to go down to the House of Delegates and let the members
know his Honour the Presidt was ready to receive them in the
Council Chamber
Col Greenberry and Col Tilghman returned and said they
had delivered their message

And immediately the members of the House of Delegates
came up to the Council Chamber & were advised by the
Honble Presidt to make Choice of their Speaker & then re-
turned down to their House and presently came up again to
the Council Chamber and presented Mr Robert Ungle a Dele-
gate of Talbott County whom they had chosen for their
Speaker to be approved and confirmed by the Honble Presi-
dent Which was done notwithstanding the said Mr Ungle dis-
abled himself and prayed his Honour to advise them to choose
a more proper Person
After which the said Speaker prayed that the Delegates and
their Servants might Enjoy their Priviledges in being free from
Arrests and that he might have Access to his Honour's person
