Att a Session of Assembly begun & held at the City of
Annapolis on Wednesday the 23d day of Aprill in the fourth
year of the Reign of our Sovn Lord King George &c. And in
the third of his Lordship's Dominion &c Annoq Dni 1718
(Memdm There not being a sufficient number of the members
to make a house on the 22d Day they did not meet till the day
after.)

Col John Mackall, Col James Maxwell & Capt. Daniel
Mariartee from the Lower house Acquaint his Excellency,
That Mr Speaker with a Sufficient Number of the members of
that House are met, And wait his Excellencys Comands
Col William Holland & Col Thomas Addison sent to the
Lower House to acquaint Mr Speaker his Excellency Requires
him with the Gent of that House to attend him Imediately at
this Board. Who Return and say they Delivered it.


Thereupon Mr Speaker with the Gentlemen of that House
attend his Excellency at this Board Where he is Pleased to
bespeak them as foll

Gentlemen of the Upper and Lower Houses of Assembly
I am to acquaint you, that the right Honble my Lds Guilford
and Baltemore, have Expressed great Satisfaction, on your
Proceedings in last Genll Assembly, as will fully appr by their
Ldps obliging Answers, to the Seperate Addresses of both
houses, and by their not Dissenting to any one Act passed in
that Session.
I have sevl other matters to Communicate to you by their
Ldps Commands Which I am of Opinion will be better Ex-
plained in the way of Message

Gentlemen
From the happy Conclusion of the last Session I pleased
myself with the hopes, that the remaining part of that time I
