Mr Dulany and Col Gale were Sent to the Upper House to Acquaint

His Excellency the Governour A Sufficient number of Members
were met to Compose a House
John Hall Esqr & Col Tilghman from the Upper House Ac-
quaint Mr Speaker that His Excellency requires him and the rest
of the Members of [it] to Attend him in the Council Chamber. Mr
Speaker left the Chair and with the Rest of the Members of this

House went to the Upper House where His Excellency was Pleased
to Make the following Speech Viz. [The text of this speech is
printed at page 143.]
Mr Speaker and the Rest of the Members of this House returned
Mr Speaker reassumed the Chair
Resolved that the Rules of this House of last Session be Observed
this Session

Resolved that the Hours of Sitting During this Session be from
Eight of the Clock in the Morning until Twelve and from Two in
the afternoon until five.
The House Adjourns until to Morrow Morning Eight of the
Clock.

Wednesday March 20th 1733.
The House Met According to Adjournment,
the Members called Over All Present as yesterday the Proceed-
ings of Yesterday were read over.
The Several Committees of last Session Continued this Session.
Mr Beale and Capt Gordon are Excused from Attending on the
Committee of Accounts.
Capt Henry Hooper a Representative of Dorchester County Ap-
peared in the House this Day
Capt Hooper and Mr Hemsley added to the Committee of Ac-
counts
The Committee of Laws Appointed to prepare an Address to his
Excellency on his Speech.
Mr Goldsborough, Mr Edmundson, Mr Needles and Mr Benson
the Representatives of Talbot County Appeared in the House this
Day.
Ordered that the Speaker Issue his Warrant to the Secretary
to Issue a New Writ of Election directed to the Sherriff of Prince
Georges County to Elect a Member to serve in this Assembly in the
Room of Mr Crabb Deceased.
Mr Ghiselin Approved of as Clerk to the Committee of Laws.
Mr Brannock a Representative of Dorchester County Appeared
in the House this Day.
