Coll Mackall and Twelve more ordered to present the Address
to his Excellency the Governour and to begg his Excellency to
Transmitt the Address to the Lord Proprietary.
The House proceeded to Tax the following Bills. An Act to Cut
off the Entail of a Tract of Land Called Andertons point &c.

An Act for The Payment of a Sum of money to Andrew Ramsey
Henry Mackall

The Governour Communicated the following Answer Viz.


Gentlemen of the Lower House of Assembly
I shall Take Care to Transmit your Address and proposalls to
his Lordship By the first Opportunity and you may be Assured my
Good Offices shall Never be wanting to promote any agreement
that may be Thought Just and Reasonable by his Lordship and the
Two Houses of Assembly and for the Advantage of his Lord-
ships Tenants.

The House Adjourns for an Hour
The House met according to Adjournment
Resolved that George Neilson be allowed in full of all accounts
To this Day. £17.0.0
Col Gale and Richard Francis Esqr sent to His Excellency To
Acquaint him that no Business is now before this House
Benjamin Tasker Esqr from the Upr House Acquaints Mr Speaker
The Governour requires His attendance with the rest of the Mem-
bers of The Lower House in the Upr House.
Mr Speaker Attended with the Other Members of the Lower
House went to the Upr House.
Mr. Speaker Presented the following Bills. [See page 435.]

All which were by His Excellency the Governor, assented and
sealed with his Lordships Great Seal at Arms and Signed Thus :

On Behalfe of the Right Honourable The Lord Proprietary of this
Province I will this be a Law.

After which His Excellency made the following Speech [See

Thus Endeth The Second Session of this Assembly Begun and
Held at the City of Annapolis the Twentyeth Day of April and
Ending the Sixth day of May Anno Domini 1736 in the Ninth
year of his Majesties Reign and in the Twenty Second Year of his
Lordships Dominion.
