M^r Speaker left the Chair & with the rest of the Members of this
House went to the Upper House where his Lordship was pleased to

M^r Speaker and the rest of the Members of this House returned.
M^r Speaker reassumed the Chair.
M^r Moses Adney late Door keeper of this House being Dead the
House unanimously Appoint M^r Thomas Reynolds to Succeed him
in that Place.
M^r Gordon Acquaints M^r Speaker that according to Order he
Qualified M^r Thomas Reynolds as Doorkeeper by Administering the
Several Oaths required by Act of Parliament, The Oath of Office,
and by Signing the Test in his presence.

The House met according to Adjournment. The members called
over all present as yesterday, the Proceedings of Yesterday were
read.
Capⁿ Elliot appeared in the House this Morning.
M^r Warfield Ordered to acquaint M^r Humphreys to read Divine
service during this Session at Seven of the Clock in the forenoon
and at four in the Afternoon.
The Rules of the House Observed last Assembly being read are
Agreed to.
The Committee of Laws Ordered to prepare an Address to His
Lordship on his Speech at the Opening this Session.
George Plater Esq^r from the Upper House Delivered to M^r
Speaker a Petition from the Inhabitants on the South side of
Potapsco Indorsed thus. [This endorsement is printed at page 3.]
And the Petition of the Inhabitants of the Upper parts of Ann
Arundell County, Indorsed thus. [This endorsement is printed at
page 3.]
M^r Dulany from the Committee of Laws brings in an Address
to the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary, read it in his place

and Delivered it to the Clerk.
