(p. ixxiii); (VII) a petition from the inhabitants of Chestertown for authority
to establish and regulate a town market; (VIII) a petition from the inhabitants
of Somerset County praying for the passage of an act relating to the town of
Salisbury (p. xxxiv); (IX) orders from the Governor to the Sheriff of Anne
Arundel County to proclaim the acts passed at the 1762 session; (X) petitions
for the relief of six "languishing prisoners" imprisoned for debt in various
