Gentlemen of the Upper House of Assembly
I return you thanks for your Polite Address and have no doubt
but your Conduct will Correspond with the assurance you are pleased
to give me.

Read and referred the Petition of the Rector Vestrymen and
Sundry Inhabitants of Somerset Parish in Somerset County and
sent by Sam.l Chamberlaine Esq..r

Read and referred the Petition of the Vestry and Church War-
dens of Chester Parish in Kent County
Read and referred the Petition of sundry Inhabitants of Frederick
County praying the Erection of a Workhouse and Hospital, these
two Petitions sent to the Lower House by Daniel Dulany Esq..r
Read and referred the Petitions of the following Prisoners Viz..t
Henry Heinzman, John Berry, and John Davis of Frederick County,
Littleton Brombly, Levin Laramore, William Truitt, Elias Town-
shend Savoy Wing, Charles Moore, Thomas Pearson, Jonathan Hud-
son, Robert Nelson, Philip Rain, and John Mears of Worcester
County, Locker Young of Prince Georges County and Thomas
Hicks Newton of Calvert County Sent by Col.o Hammond.
Read and referred the Petition of John Jeremiah Myer of Fred-
erick County. Sent by Col.o Hooper.
Read and referred the Petitions of Ignatius Spalding, John Vain
and Stephen Tare Prisoners in Charles County Goal. Sent by John
Ridout Esq..r
