FREDERICK COUNTY.

Provisions
now vetted
in county
court trans-
ferred to
levy court.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the provisions now vested
in Frederick county court as relates to private roads, be here-
after vested in the levy court of said county, and any person
conceiving himself aggrieved in any way by the determination
of said levy court, may appeal to the county court, whose
determination shall be final, any law to the contrary notwith-
standing.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the levy court of Frede-
rick county are hereby authorized to levy any sum of money,
not exceeding one hundred and fifty pounds in any one year,
for the erecting and building of any new bridge in their county.

A SUPPLEMENT to the ACT to regulate the manner of obtaining and altering
Public Roads, in this State, passed January twenty-six, eighteen hun-
dred and nineteen — 1836, ch. 231.
SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall and may be lawful for the county court of Frede-
rick and Anne Arundel, to alter or change any public road, in
their respective counties, in the same mode and manner, as
they are authorized and directed, by the act to which this is a
supplement, to open, straighten or shut up a public road.

Surveyor's
fee.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the surveyor who may be
employed in the opening, straightening, shutting up, altering ex-
changing a public road, may be allowed any sum not exceed-
ing four dollars a day.
