AM ACT to repeal the fourth section of an Act, entitled, a Supplement to an
Act to provide fur electing Commissioners for Allegany County, and
prescribing their Duties and Powers, passed December session, eighteen
hundred and thirty-eight, chapter three hundred and sixteen. — 1839,
ch. 126.

SEC. 1 . Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, that the fourth
section of the act passed at December session, eighteen hundred
and thirty-eight, chapter three hundred and sixteen, be and
the same is hereby repealed, and that the county commissioners
shall hold their annual February session, and shall exercise all
the powers and duties at said February session, as heretofore
provided by law.

A SUPPLEMENT to an ACT, entitled, an Act to amend the Constitution
and form of Government, so far as relates to the division of Allegany
County into election districts, and to establish an additional election
district.- 1839, ch.317.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the act passed at December session, eighteen hundred and
thirty-seven, chapter one hundred and eighty-three, entitled,
an act to revise and alter the divisional lines between election
districts number one and ten in Allegany county, and to
change the place of holding elections, be and the same is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the proceedings had, and
the division made between districts numbers one and ten in
said county, under the act of assembly passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, chapter forty-four,
and confirmed at December session, eighteen hundred and
thirty-six, entitled, an act to amend the constitution and form
of government, so far as relates to the division of Allegany
county in election districts and to establish an additional elec-
tion district, be and the same are hereby revived and declared
to be in full force and virtue in law.

AN ACT to regulate an Election in Howard District of Anne Arundel
County.— 1839, ch. 43.

Be it enacted, by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
at the election to be held under and by virtue of the third
section of the act of eighteen hundred and thirty-eight, chapter
twenty-two, each voter may place upon his ballot the name of
