CHAPTER 105.
AN ACT to amend the Public General Laws,
passed January session, eighteen hundred and,
sixty-five (Chapter thirty-one) so as to exempt
Somerset and Worcester Counties from the effect
of the second Section thereof, so far as relates to
the publication of the Local Laws.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That so much of the second and third
Sections (Chapter thirty-one) of the laws passed
January session, eighteen hundred and sixty-five,
as applied to Somerset and Worcester Counties
requiring the publication of all local laws in all
the newspapers of Worcester and Somerset Coun-
ties be and the same is hereby repealed.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 106.
|

AN ACT to amend an Act entitled an Act to
Incorporate the Towsontown Railroad Company,
passed at the January session, eighteen hundred
and fifty-eight.
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section two (2) in relation to
objects of incorporation of the Towsontown Rail-
road Company, Section five (5) in relation to the
mode of proceeding in condemnation, Section six
(6) in regard to the authority to increase stock,
and Section nine (9) in relation to the charges for
carrying passengers and freight, Section (14) in
relation to the rights of said Company to charge
ten cents for freights carried any distauce, of the
act of the General Assembly, passed March ninth,
eighteen hundred and fifty-eight (Chapter three
hundred and seventy-two) be and the same are
hereby repealed.
