            INDEX TO THE LAWS.
 
 
 

    Provisions relating to the public roads,

    A part of the public road from the head of Church
Creek to Cambridge to be changed,
    A road to be laid out from the Baptist meeting house
to the Indian Landing, on Black Water River,
—From the new meeting house on the road from
Cambridge to Hill's Point, and thence to Casson's
Point, &c.
    A part of the road from Black Water River to the
head of Hungar River to be changed, &c.
    A road to be laid out from a point on the road to
Hill's Point, and running down Eccleston's Neck, &c.
    A part of the road from Vienna to Henry's Cross
Roads to be changed,
    A road to be laid out from Chickone Gate, through
the Indian town, down to the Walnut Landing,

    A road to be opened from the Pennsylvania line
through Emmitsburgh and Creager's-town, to intersect
the road from Lancaster to Washington, near Frederick
town,
—To connect the road from Petersburgh, in Pennsylvania,
to Westminster in Frederick county, with
the road from Hanover to Westminster,
—From below a point of rocks in the Catoctin
mountain to widow Kemp's mill,
—From Emmitsburgh to Caldwell's lane, on the
Pennsylvania line,
—From Westminster to the city of Washington
and George town,
—From Middletown to Washington county,
—From Liberty-town, through New Market, to
Hyatt's-town in Montgomery county,
    The Baltimore and Frederick Turnpike Company
incorporated, &c.
    A road to be laid out from East-street in Frederick-town,
to intersect a road from the east end of Church-street
to B. Johnson's mill,
    The Baltimore and Reister's-town turnpike company
empowered to extend the road from Westminster to
Taney-town, to Emmitsburgh, and to the Pennsylvania
line,
    A company incorporated to make a turnpike road
from the District of Columbia, through Montgomery
and Frederick counties, to Frederick-town, &c.
    The roads through the plantation of Henry Hershberger
to be reviewed,
    Part of the act of 1794, ch. 52, repealed, as to Frederick
county, &c.
    Provision as to private roads therein,
    A road to be opened from Apple's Church to intersect
the main road from Hager's-town through Charlton's
gap to Baltimore,
—From Joshua Howard's mills to intersect the Baltimore
and Reister's-town turnpike road in or near
Westminster,
    The road from Woodsborough to Frederick-town to
be reviewed, &c.

    A road from Hughes's coaling ground to Frederick-town,
to be opened, &c.

    A supplement to the act of 1791, ch. 16, to lay out
and open a road to and from the mill of Joshua Howard,
on Sam's Creek, in Frederick county.
